Kitchen Cabinets painted and glazed for a modern look

Before these oak cabinets made this kitchen look dated and straight out of 1990! 

 

We mask off all surfaces, cover all floors, counters & surrounding areas to avoid overspray



The owner was replacing the hinges, so cabinets were prepped and painted hung.

 



Cabinets are thoroughly washed then sanded.  We applied a lacquer under coater primer to these to ensure an extremely durable base.  We then painted a finish coat on the cabinets in a semi gloss finish.

AFTER - we applied a brown glaze to high-light the cabinets and give them a antique glaze

Glazing high-lights are the current effect in most high end new homes being built

The overall effect of the antique glaze really makes the cabinets feel very high end

The finished product turned out amazing - new cabinets for a fraction of the "new cabinet" price

The patio post were dry rotted - we can repair!

We cut out the dry rot and replace the bottoms for a great new post!

After - we added a concrete sealer to the rock work to make it shine - really makes the rock work pop!

We had to tape off the wording on the sign to protect it from paint
