Amazing Cabinet Transformation

BEFORE we protect every surface, remove every door and protect all hinges and handles

Cabinet doors are removed, cabinet insides are taped off and bases are sprayed

Every surface is protected, a lacquer undercoater is added for durability

Kitchen Cabinets painted and glazed for a modern look

Before these oak cabinets made this kitchen look dated and straight out of 1990! 

 

We mask off all surfaces, cover all floors, counters & surrounding areas to avoid overspray



The owner was replacing the hinges, so cabinets were prepped and painted hung.

 



Cabinets are thoroughly washed then sanded.  We applied a lacquer under coater primer to these to ensure an extremely durable base.  We then painted a finish coat on the cabinets in a semi gloss finish.

AFTER - we applied a brown glaze to high-light the cabinets and give them a antique glaze

Check out how the brown antiquing glaze really brings these to life - gives the that pop that makes them modern

Glazing high-lights are the current effect in most high end new homes being built

The overall effect of the antique glaze really makes the cabinets feel very high end

The finished product turned out amazing - new cabinets for a fraction of the "new cabinet" price
